Pockthorpe

Pockthorpe is a historic part of Norwich just outside the old city walls to the north-east, around Barrack Street and Silver Road, close to the cathedral quarter and the foot of Mousehold Heath in the NR3 postcode. Once a busy industrial and brewing district, it is now a mix of older terraces, more recent housing and commercial premises, with trees dotted through gardens, yards and the green slopes leading up to the heath.
