Eaton is one of the most desirable suburbs in Norwich, a leafy area on the southern side of the city known for Eaton Park with its Art Deco bandstand and boating lake, the old village conservation area around Eaton Street, and the mature gardens that line the roads towards Cringleford and the River Yare. The tree stock here is some of the finest in the city, with large beeches, oaks, cedars and pines that have stood for generations.
