Tree Surgery in

Heartsease Estate

Norfolk Arboricultural Services carries out tree surgery across the Heartsease estate in the north-east of Norwich.

Covering the Heartsease estate and north-east Norwich, NR7.

Heartsease is a large post-war residential estate in the north-east of Norwich, built through the 1950s and 60s around the well-known Heartsease roundabout and taking its name from the old Heartsease farm and pub. Like many estates of its era, it was laid out with grass verges, open greens and amenity trees, and those trees have now reached full maturity throughout the NR7 streets.

Established estate trees bring plenty of everyday work. We carry out crown reductions and lifting on verge and garden trees that have grown over pavements, driveways and gardens, along with deadwooding, thinning and the removal of trees that have outgrown their setting or become unsafe. Stump grinding after removals leaves the ground clear and ready to replant or turf over.

The estate sits close to Mousehold Heath and the boundary with Thorpe St Andrew, and we cover the whole surrounding NR7 area including Harvey Lane and the streets towards Sprowston. Some amenity and street trees are managed by the council or protected by Tree Preservation Orders, so we always confirm the position before starting work and handle any notifications on your behalf.
