Tree surgery in Crown Point

Tree Surgery in

Crown Point

Norfolk Arboricultural Services provides tree surgery around Crown Point, Trowse and the south-eastern edge of Norwich.

Covering Crown Point, Trowse and the Whitlingham valley, NR7.

Crown Point takes its name from the historic estate on the south-eastern side of Norwich, above the Yare valley near Trowse Newton and what is now Whitlingham Country Park. It is one of the more wooded approaches to the city, where mature estate and parkland trees give way to the residential streets and the retail and business areas around the NR7 postcode.

The trees here are a real mix. Alongside garden specimens in the surrounding housing you find riverside willows and alders down in the valley, and larger parkland trees - oaks, limes and beeches - that are a legacy of the old Crown Point estate landscape. Trees of this age and size need experienced management, whether that is a formative crown reduction, careful deadwooding over a footpath, or a full assessment where storm damage or decay is a concern.

We work throughout the Crown Point, Trowse and Whitlingham area, covering both private gardens and the grounds of larger properties. With the country park, the broad and the river close by, some sites fall within sensitive habitats or conservation areas, and we plan our work accordingly. If you are unsure whether a tree is protected, we can check with the council as part of a free site visit. Call 07467 536667.
